Very damp out here

Nothing new from the pottery/mug  department. Actually, Studio 400 west does have quite a few raku orders and you can never have too many mugs with the holidays right around the corner so there are quite a few raku firings to do and mugs to dry. Propane tanks were all filled over a week ago, lots of fetish horses glazed and ready to fire and the raku kilns are still covered with plastic. Upside is that this supposed to be the last couple of monsoon days, then drying out. I packed up a few orders after the weekend and the boxes just feel soft and damp. The local weather chick said that the humidity is the highest ever (as long as records go back) for this late in the monsoon season.

Speaking of damp, here are some pictures of the latest volunteers to show up in the planters. All things seem to grow better with lots water from natures watering can!
